The Justice Agency for International Arbitration provides quick and effective solutions in resolving disputes between adversaries.
The party intending to request the commencement of mediation proceedings shall submit the following information to the Justice Agency for International Arbitration and to the other party or parties, as the case may be, as follows:
(a) A copy of the mediation clause contained in the contract concluded between the parties or of the charter party agreement on mediation subsequently concluded between the parties.
(b) The name and address of each party. The names, addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses of all parties and their representatives.
(c) A brief statement of the nature of the dispute and/or the amount of compensation requested. A summary of the facts, demands, documents and evidence.
(d) Any specific qualifications that the mediator must possess. Qualifications required by the broker.
When there is no precondition or agreement between the parties to resort to mediation to resolve existing or future disputes under the supervision of the Justice Agency for International Arbitration, any party may request the Justice Agency for International Arbitration to invite the other party to participate in a “mediation process by voluntary participation.”
Once the Justice Agency for International Arbitration receives the request for mediation, it contacts the party or parties to the dispute in an effort to reach an agreement to begin mediation procedures.
